Make a menu for the week!
To save time, money and stress I make up a menu every month. Each of my 3 kids cook once a week so I don't have to come home and cook every night. It also saves me from the stress of figuring out what I am going to cook that night. Most importantly it saves us a ton on our grocery bill, because we only buy what we need.
