Sometimes I feel everything in this world is unraveling and I worry about what my children’s future will be like. What do you think is the solution?

I believe that the solution will come when men and women share equally in the responsibility of managing world affairs. I don’t see a peaceful world any other way. Men and women balance each other and diffuse what is negative about each other if they work on equal terms. Right now there are very few women in the mix of decision makers on a global level and have very little say in how countries are run and how our planet is used.
If you notice, the most problematic countries treat their women the poorest and there is so much bloodshed and fighting over land in this world today. Ironically, our land will be worthless if we continue to treat it the way we do. The earth will just get rid of us all if we continue to kill each other and kill it. This is already happening with elevated global warming, disease, famine, etc.
In just the last 30 years, our planet has 20% less useable water and our population continues to grow. In 30 more years, how old will your children and my children be and what are the implications for them.
My hope is that more women will come forward to take their rightful place at the table and good men will welcome them to help save the planet. I know my husband, for one, cares just as much about the future of our children as I do and would also love to more women at the table for everyone’s sake.
