Happy New Year!

I am excited about 2008 because I believe this year, more than ever, many of us will become more energized about taking the risks and doing the work that we need to do to move forward for ourselves and in helping others. We're here to make a positive difference in any way we are able. And, mothers are truly able to move mountains!

This past holiday was one of my favorites! We had a special Christmas lunch with some wonderful people with whom our family has grown to love. All of them were dealt a raw deal that was beyond their control in their young lives but their spirit and joy made this holiday so meaningful. We had a music recital where all the kids played an instrument or sang and we all felt that we were all part of the same family no matter where we all started in life.

I always hope that my children will grown to understand that your heart can never get too big (just your ego!) and there are no boundaries when it comes to caring.

All of us at Moms on the Move really care about what you care about so we are looking at 2008 to make a greater difference for you!

We are also starting the new year by updating our message boards with an exciting new look so you can continue to reach out to other moms.

So this year is the year to do what brings you a sense of peace; whether it's spending more time with your kids, cutting down on sweets for your health, starting that new business or applying for the job you want, forgiving a family member, volunteering for you kid's school, donating blood, taking classes to get a degree, changing your job or maybe taking the time to be closer to your spouse.

2008 is all about taking steps in the right direction.

The key is always inside you!
