One Week Til the NEW Mom on the Move Show Airs!
Submitted By Anonymous
I haven't written for awhile because I have been hold up an edit room 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for the past few weeks getting the new show ready for you to see. My family is hanging in there as I make appearances at home, eat dinner and pop up to the computer room to catch up on emails.
It is interesting and lucky that my husband is happy to do school pick ups, weekend sports events for the kids and even cook dinner sometimes during this time. It took me 20 years to find out that he is actually a good cook!
These shows that begin October 18th (where and when is listed on the home page under Watch Our Show”) have been quite a labor of love. I’m sure a lot of people will think when they see them that there was some big TV studio with lots of cash behind them but that is not the case at all.
This is just some great, down to earth people who working right beside me; as they say, “bleeding for Moms on the Move” to succeed because they see how much good this show can do.
As for a great sponsor and a studio in which to tape the show, this was the "miracle part" that took 5 years of back breaking work to happen and the right people showing up along the road when it was time, who believed in the mission.
I always worry that people will look at me sometimes and think things have been handed to me and that is why I have even come this far. I am the product of depression generation parents who believed in the work ethic so if we wanted something growing up, we had to work for it.
I always thought it would be nice to have a trust fund but would it? When you work hard and see good things happen to other people because of your work, maybe that’s the real dream.
I make sure my children are in on this as much as possible because they need to see how much effort it takes to accomplish anything that is really worthwhile. They'll be in the show a little bit here and there and I think they get it!
