Innocent Women and Wolves!
Submitted By Anonymous

I spoke with a mom who is developing a product to help moms and their families stay fit. It’s a discovery she made while working overseas in Japan. Like so many first time inventors, she has been ripped off by a manufacturer overseas just when the product was near completion. She is still optimistic but at a point where she is wondering if she can take much more with the hurdles that most first time inventors run into when they start trying to trademark, find distributors and manufacture.

I have also heard from moms who have gone through this drill and kept going and are succeeding. They also have great advice so first timers don’t fall into the traps that evil people set for innocent inventors. And, there are a lot of wolves in sheeps clothing out there in the business world.
We just put up an area on our Message Boards called “Taking and Idea to Market”

I urge you to share your pitfalls, even specifics of experiences you have had so great moms can be more prepared when they are trying to move forward.
