What Does Moms Raise the World Mean?
Submitted By Anonymous

Two people can read the same story, see the same movie, have the same experience or meet the same person and walk away with completely different impressions.
It really is true that reality is subjective.

I didn’t think that “Moms Raise the World” would have so many meanings to everyone until the Mom on the Move Messages began to air around the country.

It is really important that you know we are amazed, humbled, honored and many times emotional about your nominations and your stories in the past few weeks. I also promise you will hear from us so let me know if you don’t in a matter of days. In the world of Moms on the Move, we are all equally important.

Sometimes when I was coaching softball when my kids were young, some of the parents used to question my judgement of base assignments when we were winning. On my team, everyone got in the game. And, by the way, they were only in gradeschool! Kids need to be encouraged to participate as well as compete.

Moms Raise the World is a participation.

I was trying to find a way to empower mothers to believe that what they do and are passionate about, is so important than they can actually elevate the world or “Raise the World.” Normally, all anyone needs to feel empowered is someone to let them know they can.

“Moms Raise the World” does NOT mean “Moms Raise Children Alone”…but Raise the consciousness, the communications, understanding and the other three hundred things that are good that we can raise together.
