New Website. Geez!!!
Submitted By Anonymous
Today we switched over to our new website. Geez! I feel like I just had another baby…without the epidural! There is still a ways to go, but step by step, every day there will be something new to help moms move forward.
My webmasters Scott and Katrina (who just had her third baby 2 weeks ago) have not jumped ship yet with the task of helping me build this new site. They are certainly working under a little pressure but also a lot of faith so that keeps me going!
If you are visiting our website for the first time today, you may have seen one of the Mom on the Move messages on TV that were inspired by great moms we featured on Moms on the Move in the past.
I know I have some explaining to do for you to help you understand what is going on with Moms on the Move; what happened to me a few years ago, that let me know it was time for me to get on TV somehow and help empower mothers; how a door finally opened for me on NBC10 in Philadelphia on their “10! Show; and about the crashing and burning and the successes over the past 3 years that brought me to your TV set.
Last night, I said to my 19 year old daughter,“Lianda, I am going to start a blog and I still don’t quite get how I am supposed to approach this thing.” She replied, “Mom, a blog is like a diary that everybody can read.” My first thought was, “Ugh! the last thing I want people to read is my diary!” However, if I tell you how I feel and you do the same, don’t you think we can do a better job getting things done for moms? What do you think?
My 17 year old daughter, Lorianna, came home from school today with a 102 fever. I hate that she is sick but I love that she lets me know she still needs me to take care of her…she is certainly, the independent one!
See you tomorrow….
