What Are You Thankful For This Year, Linda?
Submitted By Cara Thomas

I am thankful for the health of my family, especially my children. They say a mom is only as happiest as her unhappiest child and I am thankful that my kids are happy at this time. I am also thankful this year that I feel closer to God than ever with my purpose to help women which makes me feel sometimes like I have the strength of 10 people...of course, that is in spirit! Don't ask me to arm wrestle!

Below are some of the emails we received of women who expressed what they are grateful for this year.

Katherine Weltner-
I am thankful for selling our house before the market got really bad.

I am thankful for my grown kids telling me when they heard we were going to sell the house and look for an adult community, that we couldn't move more than an hour away or they wouldn't come get us and therefore we found our place within less than a half hour away from most of them and still see a lot of our 7 granddaughters.

Our youngest daughter is in Florida with her family and our 3 grandsons, so we go there once a year to se them.

Our youngest son is in Iraq and I pray every night that he and his unit come home safely.

I am thankful that my husband and I no longer have to worry about raking leaves and shoveling the long driveway to get to the top of the road.

I am thankful for our 6 loving adult children and 10 loving grandchildren.

I smile thankfully because of my beautiful family.

I have a wonderful and supporting husband (who no longer rolls his eyes when I come up with some idea).

My two daughters are tremendous blessings. My oldest just turned 6and my youngest is 5 ˝. Our youngest joined our family two years ago yesterday (Thanksgiving Day). We flew to China on November 25, 2006. Although, the beginning was very rocky for all of us, we made it through.

Campbell is a very happy girl and you'd think she's always been a part of our family.
